Loss Cover
Many Multi Gadget Insurance Policies exclude loss cover or you have to pay extra to include loss cover. Our Multi Gadget Insurance includes it. So if you lose your phone or gadget then we will replace it.
Theft Cover
If you have chosen cover that includes Theft and your gadget is stolen then we will provide you with a replacement. Where only part or parts of your gadget have been stolen, we will only replace those part or parts.
Instant Cover
We give instant cover if item is less than 6 months old. If not a 14 day exclusion applies.
Accidental Damage Cover
We will pay the cost of repairs if your gadget is damaged as the result of an accident. If your gadget is not repairable then we will offer you a replacement gadget.
Mechanical Breakdown Cover
We will pay repair costs if your gadget suffers an electrical or mechanical breakdown occurring outside of the manufacturers guarantee period. If your gadget is not repairable then we will provide you with a replacement gadget.
Liquid Damage Cover
We will pay the cost of repairs if your gadget is damaged by liquid as the result of an accident. If your gadget is not repairable then we will provide you with a replacement gadget.
Cracked Screen Cover
We will pay the cost of repairs if the screen of your gadget is damaged as the result of an accident. If your gadget is not repairable then we will provide you with a replacement gadget.
Family Gadget Cover
We will give cover for gadgets that are owned by you and members of your family living at your address. Please note that there is a single article limit of £750. Any items that are worth over £150 need to be noted on your policy.
90 Day Worldwide Cover
Our multi gadget insurance policy provides overseas cover as standard. Many other insurers only offer overseas cover as an optional extra. All gadgets are covered up to 90 days worldwide.
Lower Excesses
The excess starts from as low as £25 and depends on value of item. Item value up to £250 = £25 / £500 = £50 / £500+ = £75
Exclusions and Limitations
As with all policies of this type there are certain limitations and certain things that are not covered by your multi gadget insurance policy. The most significant exclusions of this policy are set out below. There may be other exclusions that are significant to you. You need to check the policy document for full details.
Your gadgets must be less than 18 months old at the start date of the insurance (or up to 36 months of age only if a renewal of a previous policy).
There is a 14 day exclusion period at the start of the policy if your item is over 6 months old. If your gadget is stolen, lost, damaged or breaks down in this time, you will not be able to claim. An excess applies to each and every claim. Loss cover is not applicable to laptop computers.
